Prismasonic Cinomorph Prismatic

Cinomorph prismatic is based on the achromatic prisms and the spherical focus corrector. This lens model has two knobs on top to control the expansion ratio, which can be steplessly adjusted from the pass thru mode up to 2.40:1 Cinemascope format.
In order to control the aspect ratio, the lens has adjustable terminal stops for both 16:9 and 2.40:1 modes. This greatly helps to match accurately the different screens and projector setups in the initial setting up. Once the setup has been done, the mode switching will be quick and precise to preform.
The optics of cinomorph_prismatic is based on two achromatic prisms, and a spherical focus correction element. All the air-glass surfaces have board  band anti-reflection coatings to prevent the reflections, and to maximize the light output of the projector.
The achromatic optics means that the both prisms are made by two prisms components of opposite polarity and different optical properties. The components are eventually seamlessly bonded together. The formed pair of achromatic doublets effectively reduces the chromatic aberration, which would occur as a color fringing in a picture, which was projected through the single prisms.
